Majoriaq

Majoriaq is Greenland's local job, guidance, and qualification center – a place where we help people every day towards education and work. We meet citizens with very different starting points, and our task is to make the next step manageable: from the first considerations about direction to concrete plans, applications, and processes.

With us, we work at the intersection of people and opportunities. We collaborate closely with municipalities, businesses, schools, and educational institutions, so that the guidance becomes practical and relevant – and so that the path from idea to action becomes shorter. It can be anything from job placement and career guidance to qualification that makes it possible to advance in the education system or get closer to the labor market.

Working life at Majoriaq is meaningful because we can see the effect of our efforts: when a citizen gets a grip on the direction, starts a process, or lands a job that fits. We emphasize respect, presence, and a down-to-earth approach, where we find solutions together – and where we as colleagues support each other in a daily life that can be both busy and filled with small victories.

Majoriaq exists throughout the country, and even though everyday life may look different from city to city, we share the same focus: to create good frameworks for learning, development, and safe transitions to education and work – for the benefit of both the individual and the local community.
