At KTI – Iron & Metal in Nuuk, we work every day to educate and upskill the skilled workers that Greenland needs – both now and in the future. We are part of Teknikimik Ilinniarfik (Tech College Greenland) and have our roots in the practical trades, where quality, safety, and pride in craftsmanship matter.

Our everyday life revolves around learning in reality: teaching, workshop work, and collaboration close to the industries our students and participants will enter. In the Iron & Metal field, it ranges from classic craft and technical trades to mechanics and technical education, where modern equipment and technological understanding are becoming increasingly important – even under Arctic conditions.

As a workplace, we are characterized by a strong collegial environment, where everyone helps each other across disciplines. There is room for both experience and development, and many of us thrive knowing that our efforts can be seen directly in the students' progress – from the first exercises in the workshop to the moment they are ready for working life.
