Kammagiit

At Kammagiit (often known as Kammagiitta – the Greenlandic version of “Free from Bullying”) we work every day to ensure that children in Greenland can be part of safe communities – both in daycare institutions, in the youngest classes of school, and in leisure activities.

Our efforts focus on preventing bullying and enhancing well-being with concrete tools that are adapted to Greenlandic language and culture. The materials are used daily by educators and teachers, and the idea is that all children should be included – not just those who are already in a difficult situation.

What makes the work meaningful is the collaboration across: municipalities, professionals, and national actors work together so that the efforts are anchored locally and can function in practice where the children are.
