Kalaallit Nunaanni Parnaarussiveqarfiit - Grønlands Fængsler

At Greenlandic Correctional Facilities – Greenland's Prisons, we work with a task that matters: to carry out sentences in Greenland in a safe, professional, and humane manner. We are a public authority under Denmark's Prisons, and our everyday work involves both security, responsibility, and creating frameworks that allow for development and resocialization.

We operate prisons in several locations across the country – including the Prison in Nuuk – and we also have supervisory work, where we follow and support individuals serving under conditions other than imprisonment. This means that our workplace spans widely: from operations and security to social interventions, administration, and interdisciplinary collaboration with many other actors.

As a colleague with us, you become part of a community where collaboration and integrity are highly valued. We tackle the task together, and we depend on being able to trust each other – whether you work closely with daily operations, with professional interventions, or in a supportive role around the organization.

We are also in a development phase where the Greenlandic language and culture are increasingly prominent in our education and way of working. If you thrive with responsibility, can maintain calm in complex situations, and would like to help make a tangible difference for both individuals and society, then Greenland's Prisons is a place where your work matters.
