Institution Soralu

At Institution Soralu, you will encounter an integrated daycare in Nuuk, where everyday life is about creating safe, close, and developmental frameworks for the children. We are located in Qernertunnguit (district area 3) and have a house built for children's lives – with space for play, calm, community, and the small moments that mean the most.

We work with a recognized pedagogical approach, where relationships, clear communication, and collaboration with parents are a natural part of everyday life. For us, it is important that the children are met, seen, and supported on their path towards greater independence – and that we give them the courage to explore the world with curiosity and confidence.

Nature is a part of our pedagogical practice, and we consciously use surroundings, colors, and activities to create learning and well-being on the children's terms. Everyday life is varied and lively: from free play and creative processes to routines that create predictability and safety – especially in the early years.

As a colleague at Soralu, you will become part of a community where we lift together, share knowledge, and help each other when everyday life is busy. We focus on professionalism, care, and presence – and on giving the children a good start, while also taking care of each other as a team.
