Institution Annersuaq

Welcome to Institution Annersuaq – an integrated daycare institution in Nuussuaq in Nuuk, where we work every day to create a safe, happy, and developing everyday life for the children. With us, you will meet a house with space for both the very small and the slightly larger, and where community and presence are something we build our work on.

We are set up for 64 children, and our everyday life is organized into nursery and kindergarten groups, so the children can have peace, continuity, and a recognizable structure. We emphasize a good introduction, so both children and parents feel seen and welcomed from the start.

Our pedagogical starting point is appreciative pedagogy, and we work with the child at the center. This means that we meet the children at eye level, support their curiosity, and help them develop independence – while we create clear, caring frameworks that provide security in everyday life.

As a colleague in Annersuaq, you become part of a team with several professional backgrounds, where collaboration and responsibility go hand in hand. We help each other in a lively everyday life, share knowledge, and prioritize that both children and adults thrive – for we know that the best childhood is created by adults who work well together.
