About the company
At Historical Investigation, we work to create knowledge and nuances about the relationship between Greenland and Denmark – from the time after World War II to the present day. Our task is to contribute to a shared understanding of the history we share, and to illuminate the consequences that decisions and actions have had – both then and in the present.
The work is conducted on a professional and research-based foundation, where we closely examine sources, contexts, and development processes. This means that our daily life is characterized by immersion, curiosity, and a responsible view of complexity – while also having a strong motivation to make knowledge accessible and relevant to more people.
We are part of Ilisimatusarfik (Greenland University), and with us, you will encounter an environment where collaboration across disciplines, professional sparring, and respect for different perspectives are a natural part of the work. We believe that thoroughness, openness, and professional integrity are crucial when working with topics that can be both historically significant and personally relevant.
If you thrive on analysis, communication, and meaningful work, where you contribute to strengthening the broad understanding of Greenland's recent history and societal development, then Historical Investigation is a place where your efforts make a difference – both in research and in the conversation that follows.
