At GUX Nuuk, we are proud to be a high school and a vibrant educational environment in the heart of Nuuk, where young people gain academic grounding, perspective, and courage for the future. We offer several different study programs, so students can choose a direction that matches their interests – from natural sciences and social studies to creative, linguistic, and health science courses. As an employee, you become part of a school where teaching, guidance, and student well-being are closely interconnected, and where collaboration across subjects and functions is a natural part of everyday life.

Everyday life with us is characterized by presence and relationships. We have many different areas of expertise gathered in one place – educators, management, and administrative colleagues – and we tackle the tasks together. This means that you are not alone, but have colleagues to consult with when solutions need to be found, structures created, or when a student needs extra support.

For many of our students, the dorm life is an important part of their time at GUX Nuuk. Therefore, the framework surrounding the students' everyday life also plays a significant role for us: We actively work for a good and as normal a daily life as possible, where young people can take responsibility, while there are adults around them who keep an eye on them and support them when needed.
