GUX Aasiaat

At GUX Aasiaat – also known as Avannaani Ilinniarnertuunngorniarfik – we work every day to provide young people from all over North Greenland with a strong high school foundation and a safe everyday life far from home. We are a high school with roots in the local community and a view towards the world, and we are passionate about creating an environment where professionalism, well-being, and community go hand in hand.

Our students come from a large catchment area, and many live in dormitories around Aasiaat. This makes everyday life with us very special: The school is not just a place you show up to – it is a gathering point where relationships, responsibility, and collaboration are significant.
