About the company

At Nunatta Katersugaasivia Allagaateqarfialu (Greenland's National Museum & Archives), we work every day to care for – and bring to life – Greenlandic cultural heritage. We are both a museum and an archive, and it is felt in everyday life: here, objects, stories, photographs, and documents come together to provide new perspectives on Greenland's many cultures and periods.

As a colleague with us, you will become part of a professional environment where curiosity and care go hand in hand. We work with collection, registration, preservation, research, and dissemination – and we collaborate broadly, both with local actors and international partners. It can be anything from exhibitions in Nuuk to projects that document and protect cultural traces around the country.

Our workplace is located in the characteristic buildings by Nuuk's old colonial harbor, where history almost sits in the walls. Here, there is room for both immersion and collaboration across disciplines – whether you work with collections, archives, audience experiences, digitization, or technical solutions.

We emphasize making knowledge accessible to many: for visitors, for students, and for researchers. If you thrive in an environment with a clear societal purpose, high professionalism, and a daily life where past and present meet, then NKA is a place where you can help make a difference.
