Grønlands Fængsler

At Greenland's Correctional Facilities – Greenland's Prisons, we work to ensure that serving time in Greenland is both safe, proper, and as close to the local community as possible. Our task is not only about control and frameworks – but about people, relationships, and a daily life where professionalism and respect go hand in hand.

We operate prisons and institutions in several places across the country and collaborate closely with other authorities and professional groups. Many of our initiatives have a clear social and health-focused emphasis, where we work with well-being, treatment, and support, so that people have a real opportunity to move forward – and society becomes safer in the long run.

As a colleague with us, you will become part of an environment where people help each other, take responsibility, and meet both inmates and partners with a calm, clear, and dignified approach. Workdays can be different – sometimes demanding – but almost always meaningful, because you can feel that your efforts make a difference.

We are in development and continuously work to strengthen education, professionalism, and a practice that fits Greenlandic language and culture. If you thrive in a workplace with a strong community, clear tasks, and room to develop yourself, then Greenland's Prisons could be the perfect place for you.
