About the company
At Greenland's Fisheries and Hunting Control (GFJK), we work to ensure that Greenland's fishing, hunting, and trapping are conducted in a proper and sustainable manner – benefiting both society, the industry, and nature. Our daily work is about building trust that the rules are followed and that data and documentation are managed so that decisions can be made on a solid basis.
We are a workplace with a clear societal task: monitoring, control, and surveillance. This can range from administrative work and case processing to practical control in the field – and not least close cooperation with other authorities and actors when we need to ensure an effective effort in a country with great distances and special conditions.
As a colleague with us, you will become part of an environment where professionalism and responsibility go hand in hand. We emphasize being thorough, collaborative, and respectful in our interactions with both citizens and businesses – and we know that good solutions often require the ability to combine structure, overview, and dialogue.
At the same time, we are in a continuous development where digital solutions and data quality play an increasingly important role. If you are motivated by making a real difference, thrive in a daily routine with both routines and new challenges – and would like to work in one of Greenland's most important business areas – then GFJK is a place where you can put your professionalism to use.
