We are a nationwide round-the-clock service in Qaqortoq, where both children and adults live with us – and where relationships, care, and professionalism go hand in hand.

Everyday life with us is built around structure, predictability, and small progress. We work based on each resident's needs and resources, and we start from the resident's developmental stage – with a holistic approach, where care, training, communication, and quality of life are considered together. At Ivaaraq, individual plans are developed, and we emphasize supporting residents to be as self-sufficient as possible – on their own terms.

Ivaaraq is divided into two departments, which makes it possible to adapt the framework to the residents' functional level. At the same time, we have an associated activity center, ORPIGAQ, where residents can come and engage in meaningful and sensory activities during the day.
