GAME Greenland

At GAME Greenland, we work to create strong communities for children and young people through street sports. Our focus is to make it easy to participate – regardless of experience, background, or level – and to provide more children in Greenland with positive experiences of movement, play, and togetherness.

The core of the effort is our Playmaker program, where young people aged 15-24 are trained to be role models and instructors. As a Playmaker, you help plan and execute activities for children, while also gaining responsibility, skills, and a community that spans across cities and localities.

GAME Greenland is a national project with local roots (including in Nuuk, Sisimiut, and Maniitsoq) and is created in close collaboration between the Greenlandic Sports Federation, municipalities, and the international street sports organization GAME. This means that we have both a solid organizational foundation and a practice-oriented everyday life, where relationships, safe environments, and local energy are what make the difference.

Working with us is meaningful and people-centered: you become part of a team that is passionate about youth, volunteering, and sports as a social driving force. Everyday life is characterized by collaboration, responsibility, and lots of life – and you can help develop something that can be felt directly in the everyday lives of children and young people.
