Formandens Departement

At the Chairman's Department, we work very closely with the heart of the Naalakkersuisut's work. Our everyday life is about supporting the Chairman of the Naalakkersuisut and ensuring that decisions can be made on a solid, well-thought-out basis – and that cooperation across the Naalakkersuisut, departments, and Inatsisartut processes functions smoothly.

We are a department with many professional fields gathered under the same roof. Here you will find, among other things, a management secretariat, governance, legislative and constitutional work, as well as HR development, where we contribute to both political servicing, coordination, and the development of the frameworks for public administration in Greenland. At the same time, we are part of a larger whole, where central functions and units fall under the department.
