At the Department of Nature and Environment, we work on some of the most meaningful tasks in Greenland: to take care of nature, strengthen environmental efforts, and find solutions to the climate changes we are already experiencing in our daily lives. Our work spans widely – from natural resource management and international cooperation to environmental regulation, fire, and emergency preparedness.

We are part of the Naalakkersuisut, and our task is to translate political goals into concrete action. This means that with us, you will have a daily life close to decision-making processes, where professionalism, thoroughness, and collaboration are crucial – and where your efforts can be seen in practice, both locally and nationally.
