At the Department of Business, Minerals, Energy, Justice, and Gender Equality, we work with some of the areas that truly shape Greenland's society – both in everyday life and in the long term. We are part of Naalakkersuisut (Greenland's Self-Government) and have a daily routine close to the political decision-making processes, where professionalism, responsibility, and collaboration go hand in hand.

Our tasks are broad: We help develop the frameworks for business and trade in Greenland, including business promotion, tourism, and international trade relations. At the same time, we work with the overarching policy, strategy, and coordination in the mineral and justice sectors – areas where thoroughness and quality in case processing are very important.

We also have a strong focus on gender equality and on ensuring that gender equality perspectives are integrated into both political decisions and operational processes. This means that we often work across disciplines and in close dialogue with other parts of the central administration, agencies, and external partners.
