In the Department of Children, Youth, Justice and Equality, we work to create safe frameworks and strong rights for people throughout Greenland. Our everyday work is about translating the Government's political goals into solutions that can be felt in practice – for children and youth, for citizens, and for the legal security and equal opportunities of society.

We sit in the engine room, where politics, professionalism, and reality meet. This means that we collaborate closely with municipalities, national authorities, and many different partners when we develop initiatives, draft regulations, coordinate initiatives, and follow up on whether the efforts are effective. We also work with complaint and appeal areas, where quality, thoroughness, and proper case handling are crucial.
