Departementet for Børn, Unge, Familier og Indenrigsanliggender
- Offentlig forvaltning (børn, unge og familier)
About the company
In the Department of Children, Youth, Families and Domestic Affairs, we work to create the best possible framework for children, youth and families in Greenland – and to ensure that the initiatives are coherent across the many actors in society. Our everyday life is closely linked to the Naalakkersuisut's political work, where we translate goals and ambitions into concrete initiatives that can be felt in practice.
With us, the tasks are broad: from the development of policy and legislation in the social legal area to analyses, economic follow-up and professional coordination across the sector. We continuously collaborate with municipalities, institutions and other authorities, and we emphasize that the decision-making basis is solid, well thought out and applicable – because in the end, it is about people and everyday life.
As a workplace, we are a place where one gains insight into central societal tasks and the opportunity to make a difference through professionalism, responsibility and collaboration. We solve tasks together, and you will experience an everyday life where there is room for both depth and for working closely together across professions – from law and economics to communication, HR and project work.
We thrive in a reality where there are often many stakeholders and high expectations, and where quality, decency and respect for citizens' needs are crucial. If you are motivated by complex issues, clear societal relevance and a strong collegial community, you can help us develop solutions that strengthen security, well-being and opportunities for children, youth and families in Greenland.
