At the Department of Housing and Infrastructure, we work with the frameworks that make everyday life function throughout Greenland – from housing and construction to the infrastructures that connect towns and villages. We are close to the decisions that shape society, and our work can be felt in reality when planning, building, maintaining, and prioritizing.

Our tasks are broad: We support the housing and property sector, work with the central client function and building authority, and we are also responsible for significant parts of the infrastructure sector – including traffic and transportation as well as telecommunications and mail. This means that we often collaborate across disciplines and with many different stakeholders, where dialogue, professional weight, and proper case handling are central.
