At the Center for Counseling and Family Treatment (CRF), we work to ensure that families in the Municipality of Sermersooq can receive support in time – and in a way that makes sense in a busy everyday life. We meet children, young people, and parents when family life becomes difficult, and we help create an overview, calm, and new options for action.

An important part of our work is the open counseling, where one can reach out on their own initiative and without a referral. Here we talk about what is on our minds – for example, concern for a child's well-being, challenges in the relationship, disagreement about parenting, or just the need to articulate the difficult. The counseling is non-binding and anonymous, so it is safe to take the first step.

We work holistically and based on the idea of "one entry point": The family should not have to navigate a complex system on their own. Instead, we help find the right support and create coherence in the efforts, so one experiences continuity and security. This requires both professionalism and presence – and that is exactly what we emphasize in our meetings with people.
