Bistandsværgeordningen i Grønland
- Social støtte og ledsagelse i retlige og sociale forløb (bistandsværgeordning)
About the company
In the Guardianship Scheme in Greenland, we work to ensure that people in some of the most demanding legal and social processes do not stand alone. As a guardian, you follow a citizen over a longer period and contribute with calm, overview, and human support when there are meetings, decisions, and important steps that can be difficult to understand or be part of.
The task is largely about relationship and trust: to listen, be clear and respectful – even when the situation is complex. You become the reassuring presence that helps create structure in the process and contributes to ensuring that the citizen's voice is heard and taken seriously.
We are in the process of expanding a network of guardians in towns and settlements across the country, so the support is close by – no matter where the citizen is located. This also means that you become part of a community of engaged people who take responsibility and make a noticeable difference locally.
You do not need a legal background to succeed with us. The most important thing is that you are stable, trustworthy, and motivated to help people through long and demanding processes – with presence, respect, and humanity.
