Arctic Hub

At Arctic Hub, we work to make knowledge from research in and around Greenland more visible, understandable, and useful in practice. We are a locally anchored hub in Nuuk that connects threads between people, institutions, and countries interested in Arctic research – and we help to establish the right connections when researchers, authorities, educational environments, businesses, and citizens need each other.

Our everyday life is about building bridges: from research results to those who can use them, and from good ideas to concrete collaboration. It can be anything from helping researchers find their way into relevant networks to strengthening the dialogue about what is being researched, why it matters, and how it can benefit Greenland.

We are a small organization with a large reach. This is felt in the working environment: close collaboration, high professionalism, and a great degree of responsibility in the tasks. You will quickly find yourself working outwardly, representing Arctic Hub in various forums and contributing to communicating complex topics in a way that is understandable – without compromising on quality.

Arctic Hub is established in partnership between Greenland and Denmark, and the secretariat is anchored in Nuuk. This gives us a strong platform in the middle of the Arctic – and a clear purpose: to make it easier to share knowledge and create collaborations that can support sustainable development in Greenland.
