Apisseq

At Apisseq, we are an integrated daycare institution in Nuussuaq, where everyday life is about closeness, safety, and development – for both children and adults. We care for children in both nursery and kindergarten, and we work purposefully to create a cohesive day where each child is seen, met, and supported in their well-being.

We believe that the best framework arises from a close collaboration with parents and with the child at the center. Therefore, we focus on attachment, early intervention, and a pedagogy that allows for both curiosity, initiative, and joy. We emphasize being welcoming and providing good service – and having a daily life where employees can feel that their efforts make a real difference.

The workday with us is filled with life and variation. We actively use outdoor life and are often outside, and we create experiences that bind the community together – among other things through joint activities and theme periods. At the same time, we focus on professionalism in practice, so we continuously develop our work with the children's learning, relationships, and resilience.

As a colleague at Apisseq, you become part of a place where we help each other, collaborate closely, and take responsibility for a good working environment. We are proud to contribute to giving children a strong start in life – and we look forward to welcoming new colleagues into the community.
