At Allorfik Qeqqata, we work every day to ensure that people in the Qeqqata area can receive support to create lasting changes when alcohol, hash, or gambling take up too much space in their lives. We are part of Allorfik – Greenland's national offer for addiction treatment – and our goal is to make it safe and simple to take the first step towards help.

In our daily work, we meet citizens who come with very different stories and needs. Therefore, we emphasize meeting people with respect, calmness, and professionalism – and we work with conversation-based methods, where motivation, concrete tools, and realistic goals are at the center. For many, it is not just about stopping a consumption, but about getting life back in balance again.

As a workplace, we are a small, dedicated team where you quickly get to know each other, and where we closely collaborate on both professional assessments and maintaining good contact with the citizens. We also collaborate across sectors – among other things with the municipality and other relevant actors – so that the citizen can receive the best possible support, even when there are social or family circumstances involved.
