At Aldersintegrated institution Mikisoq, we create a safe and close everyday life for the children – from the very small to the big kindergarten children. We are an integrated daycare institution where relationships, recognizable frameworks, and close collaboration with parents are a natural part of everyday life.

Our days are filled with play, movement, creative activities, and outings – and we work with an annual wheel that helps us maintain focus on the children's well-being, development, and curiosity throughout the changing seasons. We prioritize both Greenlandic and Danish traditions and enjoy gathering for cozy moments, such as kaffemik, holidays, and celebrations, where children and families can participate.

As a colleague with us, you become part of a place where we emphasize respect, safety, communication, and collaboration – both within the staff group and in our interactions with children and parents. We want both children and adults to feel seen and welcomed, and we consciously work to create calm, manageable transitions and good routines in everyday life.
