Branch Manager

A leadership role with many interesting responsibilities

As Branch Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the office in Qaqortoq, which handles freight, transport, relocation and cleaning services for customers in South Greenland. Together with your team, which currently consists of eight employees, you will maintain the quality and service level in the town while also contributing to the overall development of the business in South Greenland. As a manager, you will have a broad range of responsibilities, including:

• Employee care and support

• Customer service

• Ensuring the smooth operation of the office and warehouse

• Sales and customer relations, including cooperation with our agents in the south

• Monthly reporting

• Finance and purchasing, including invoicing

• Handling freight assignments

• Document and voucher management

• Planning daily operations in collaboration with team leaders

A structured leader who can ensure sound financial management and efficient operations

We imagine that you have experience managing smaller teams and understand what it takes for a team to succeed. You demonstrate strong leadership and are able to both lead people and ensure an efficient business. You approach your tasks in a structured and committed way and have a good understanding of finance and purchasing.

Your collaboration skills and understanding of different cultures enable you to work well with everyone, and you are able to communicate clearly in writing and speech in Greenlandic, Danish and English. Knowledge of freight and sales is definitely an advantage, but not a requirement.
